The delegate of Libya mentioned about the links between arms and drugs, the funds and resolution 15-148.
The delegate of  Cuba accepted that though the country has been a centre of trafficking at some point, the fact stands true no more.
The delegates of Russia, Mexico, Vietnam, Japan  and Columbia mentioned that steps must be taken to halt the trade of illegal drugs as soon as possible.

While UK proved its point of being against the trade by highlighting the fact that they were the first country to sign the European Action Plan to combat drugs adopted by Treaty of Rome in 1990.


The delegate of Germany presented that with the help of the EU, the country would prioritize demand reduction strategies to prevent people from take drugs and treat addicted persons to get them off drugs.
