In view with moderated caucus raised by the delegate of USA regarding the credentials of the G4 nations, India put forth its key points which included the following,
Firstly, the delegate of India pointed out the contribution of the G4 nations in peace-keeping, economical growth and that they had promoted a stable environment.
India also stressed on its contributions to UN's peace-keeping operations by deploying over 1,00,000 troops.
India then mentioned about its other contributions which included its contribution to ODA, International Trade, towards Information Technology and the Space Power.
The delegate of Pakistan then condemned India's stand in becoming a permanent member by mentioning about the relations of India with the neighboring nations, and the insecurity Pakistan feels on India exercising their veto if given the permanent membership. The delegate of Pakistan also questioned the delegate of India about its peace-keeping policies, when the are reckoned to be a hub of nuclear activity in the future.
