A press Conference was conducted by the International press of MUN. It brought to light everyone's views on the issue that had been discussed till that time. The delegates were asked to give a brief summary of the session.
Russia and Syria stated that the reason for the failure of this discussion was that the US and France were not cooperative and did not consult Syria about the decision.Syria further said that US had failed to recognize the willingness of Syrian Government to conduct elections,calling US a "self proclaimed' superpower.
US however countered that statement by saying that it wont participate with anyone involved with the Syrian Government. He claimed that the Security Council couldn't arrive to a conclusion because Russia showed support for Syria and decided to support it's ruler inspite of multiple human rights violations.
UK gave a moving statement saying how dismal and disappointing to see that no resolution was reached . He also stated that what happens in the world is a matter of global concern. He ended by saying that the discussions concerning this Syrian issue shouldn't end here.
