The delegate of Japan highlighted that on May 18,2015 his country partnered with UNODC to tackle th multidimensional security threats in North Eastern Nigeria which included terrorist activities, drug and trafficking and other forms of organized crimes through a grant of US $ 450,000 to UNODC.
Japan co-operates with UNODC to counter the global trade of illicit drugs such as amphetamine-type stimulants, cannabis and new psycho-active substances.
